Beijing Daze recently checked out the Kabab Classroom, a small place on Gulou Dong Dajie offering up ever-popular chuan’r. The area around the Drum Tower has really taken off in recent times, with a rapidly expanding range of culinary options.

Beijing Daze writes: “I’ve been walking by this sign [for Kabab Classroom] on Gulou Dong Da Jie, not too far away from the north entrance of Nan Luo Gu Xiang for a while now, and never had the time to actually check it out until a recent trip to Mao Livehouse. I was hungry enough and short on time so took the opportunity to finally jump in and see what the Kabab Classroom was all about!”

Heading inside Beijing Daze was pleasantly surprised: “This place might not teach you anything about kababs but it sure could give a few restaurants lessons in service and style.”
