Big-City Wine Bar: Enoterra Touches Down at Nali Patio

Enoteca has said goodbye to The Place and relocated to this winning spot at Nali Patio. Issues with name registration have compelled a name change, but the innovations don’t end there. For a start, Enoterra actually has a bathroom.

With the more upscale locale also comes a trendier look courtesy of Kupa Studios, whose portfolio includes Mosto, Modo and Apothecary. Where the old Enoteca had a certain cafe vibe, this high-ceilinged, stylishly lit space is more defiantly a big-city wine bar.

Those wedded to ordering by the glass have a rotating crop of ten wines (RMB 45-59) and one champagne (RMB 109) to choose from (two-for-one during happy hour, 4-7pm daily). There’s also good value in ordering a bottle, with numerous wines in the RMB 98-140 range. Categorized broadly by taste, the wine list is navigable for amateurs while giving well-versed wine drinkers ample avenue for deeper explorations.

As is often the way at Nali Patio, there’s a “tapas” list, though at Enoterra that means snacks to accompany your wine as opposed to Spanish cuisine. Brunch is served 10am-4pm on weekends, and the popular Friday Wine Fever continues.

Good for: Couples, wine lovers
Also try: Modo, Palette Vino
