Natural Wonders with Chef Seppe Nobels at TRB, May 23

Another week, another excellent guest chef at TRB. This time, they are welcoming Chef Seppe Nobels from restaurant Graanmarkt 13 in Antwerp, Belgium, for one night only on Saturday, May 23.

Nobels has a reputation for creating sensational, visually appealing dishes out of local and organic herbs and vegetables, a reputation he developed during his stints at kitchens around Europe, inlcuding restaurants such as Folliez in Mechelen, Belgium, La Maison du Cygne in Brussels, and Osteria La Loggia in Siena, Italy.

Nobels opened his restaurant, Graanmarkt 13, in 2010, emphasizing a menu that utilizes the produce grown in the restaurant's own urban rooftop garden. Sample dishes from a recent menu sound intriguing and fresh, 'broccoli / green asparagus / gilt head bream / sake', for example, or 'butter bean / king oyster mushroom / quail / summer truffle / pigs throat / arbequina olive oil'. We're looking forward to seeing what he comes up with at TRB.

Dinner on Saturday costs RMB 888, including wine pairing. Booking essential.
