Blasterjaxx
Having worked together since 2012, Blasterjaxx is the Dutch duo of Thom Jongkind and Idir Makhlaf. The two mix big room house, electro house, and Dutch house, and have collaborated with EDM giants such as David Guetta, Hardwell, and Afrojack. RMB 120. 10pm. One Third

Leo Kalyan
British-Pakistani singer, songwriter, and producer Leo Kalyan will bring his intricately moody vibes to Yugong Yishan this Friday. Popular music blog Indie Shuffle has called Kalyan "a fallen angel who sings of the brokenness and imperfection he feels in this new human form," adding, "This is some of the truest, beautifully hypnotic music [we've] found in a very long time." Hamoudeh and Huang, Weiwei and Juan Granados
How do you like your electronica? Pure techno? Deep house? Or a smattering of both in the tech house strain? Aurora aims to satisfy all your beat needs, hosting three DJs this Friday that dabble in all those subgenres and more as part of the Keep On Deepin' On party series. The series has been bouncing around a variety of Beijing clubs since 2015, and is described as having been "born to cater Beijing’s underground music hunters." RMB 30. 10pm. Aurora 

Mehmet Aslan
Tired of the same old same? Let this Switzerland-raised, ethnically Turkish DJ open up a world of his forefather's traditional music, all laced with electronica flourishes, of course. Mehmet Aslan's (pictured in the lead image above) bread and butter is Turkish-laced dance tracks that'll have the club moving. As DJ Mag puts it, Aslan can carefully craft "a moody, introspective atmosphere while retaining an inviting dancefloor groove." RMB 80, RMB 60 (advance). 10pm. Dada

Children’s Day Disco Party
Rediscover your inner child at Lantern's Children’s Day Disco Party on Jun 1. DJs Demone, Senders Chen, and Watermelon will help you unwind from the stresses only adult life can bring, with help from special guest Jackson Lee. RMB 100, RMB 70 (advance). 10pm. Lantern
 

Saturday, June 2 

Electric Taco
Eleven DJ's. A rooftop terrace. A kitchen serving freshly made tacos. And ... free entry? Yes, there's plenty of reasons to get excited for this day-long, into-the-wee-hours party at Aurora. The club's regulars like Kimo and Daniel Ma will keep the music going throughout the afternoon and long after dusk, and there'll be plenty of snacks and sunshine to keep you filling warm and fulfilled. Solkyss Label Night
A trio of Swedish artists – Zellmani, Ensam, and MSVB – are set to rep their Stockholm Solkyss label in Beijing this Saturday at Dada. Only time will tell if the night if the night devolves into the bare bums and lofty heights that their album covers encapsulate (listen and see to those here). RMB 60. 10pm. Dada

Weng Weng, Eva Xu, Jackson Lee and more
Many of Lantern's heavy hitters like Weng Weng, Eva Xu, Jackson Lee (pictured above), among others will hit the decks in both rooms on Saturday to keep you bumping long into the morning. RMB 50. 11pm. Lantern
