Make Out Club 
DJ Chaise Lounge (aka Count of Montedisco) and DJ Spidermonkey hit up Dada this Thursday for an evening of eclectic '80s madness from the former and dystopian house and techno to other left-field pop songs that blend beautifully into a cacophonous alien tea party from the latter. Shaquille O'Neal
When he’s off the court, legendary basketball star Shaquille O’Neal can be found on the turntables around the globe, performing lit trap sets as his alter-ego DJ Diesel. Who knew? RMB 380. 10pm. Sir Teen

Eduardo de la Calle
Described by Resident Advisor as “One of techno‘s most intriguing and misunderstood figures," de la Called has gained a well-deserved reputation inside the global underground electronic music industry, thanks to a lazer-sharp focus during his almost two decades of activity. Warm-up duty falls to Rhom Omit and Weng Weng in Room 1, while Huang Weiwei, Eva Xu, Jackson Lee and others hit up Room 2. RMB 80, RMB 50 (advance). 10pm. Lantern

Dancehall Soundsystem
The Bahamas-born DJ Sistakilla.l comes to Beijing to will break out all the latest dancehall hits along with fellow DJ Solgi and MCs Rawhx and General Huge. RMB 80. 10pm. Aurora

Terrace Opening Party
The wine will certainly flow at Cheers Wine's Central Park terrace opening party this Friday. This newly built, Chaoyang Park-adjacent complex (you know the one – it looks like a Batman's foray into the CBD) venue just happens to be decked out with a lush new terrace. Krewella
Sisters Jahan and Yasmine Yousaf are American EDM, dance rock, dubstep, and dance-pop act Krewella. Having collaborated musically in high school since 2007, they have since toured around the world. This Beijing gig is likely to see the duo play tracks from their upcoming album, to be released later this year. RMB 120. 10pm. One Third

AYWY with Joy Ginger, Radiax, and DJ Liia
AYWY is a Sydney-based producer and DJ and co-founder of Flow Fi, a record label/artist collective uniting like-minded producers and musicians worldwide on a mutual love for exciting new soulful music. Known for his improvised, eclectic, and unpredictable DJ sets that are very much designed to make you dance, AYWY's sound has seen him collaborate with rappers and artists such as Anik Khan and Goldlink. This year, AYWY has focussed on expanding his ever-growing arsenal of ideas through a series of mixtapes. RMB 80. 10pm. Dada

Anan, Bodysnatcher, Gasse, and more
Aurora's psychedelic trance Saturdays continue this weekend with sets by Anan, touted as one of the first Chinese DJs to dabble in this genre, as well as local progressive DJ Bodysnatcher, and Italian DJ Gasse. RMB 60, RMB 40 (advance).10pm. Aurora

Konekt Series 27: Mike Dehnert (Fachwerk)
Since 2007, Berlin native Mike Dehnert has run raw techno labels Fachwerk Records, MD2, as well as the more house-oriented Colombage. The mission behind Dehnert's various imprints is simple: to release his and his labelmates' own take on raw, floor techno. So far, they've achieved their mission, setting nearly 40 releases loose and gaining the himself and his colleagues the respect of in-the-know, serious techno fans the world over. R3hab
R3hab aka Fadil El Ghoul began his career in 2007 with his production work of Mrkrstft with Hardwell. Since then, the Dutch DJ has frequently collaborated with his labelmate Afrojack and multiple awards, achievements that like sprout from his motivation "to make each performance better than the last." Conrank
The Syndicate brings back an old friend, Conrank, fresh off yet another US tour. Signed to Circus Records alongside the likes of Flux Pavilion and Doctor P, Conrank’s return to the capital promises to get the crowd jumping with his infectious blend of bass and techno, as it always does.
