Three Things for the Week Ahead in Beijing (Jul 14-20)
An exhibition on citrus with drinks to pair with it, free-flow wine on Wednesday and more in the week ahead...
See – Everything Citrus Exhibiton at shifter silo
Hongxing Hutong cocktail bar and eatery shifter has a new exhibition in their hidden art space, shifter silo: “Citrus!” As you’d expect from the name, it’s all about oranges, from the different shades of the color to the history of cultivation to their prominence in culture and art around the world.
The bar also has a special cocktail available for the duration of the exhibition called Pa Pa Gan, a boozy, tangy, citrus smoothie made from whole chunjian oranges. For something a bit stronger, shifter also has the Freeman Sidecar (pictured below), made with cognac, Grand Marnier liqueur, Xinhui orange peel syrup, and lemon juice.
“Citrus! Everything Citrus Exhibition” is open from now until Jul 30 at shifter. Entry is free. Click here to find out more.
