Learn – "Three Weddings and A Divorce" Talk by Beijing Postcards

Ahead of International Women's Day on Mar 8, Beijing Postcards will be hosting a talk on Sat, Mar 7, from 10am to 11.30am. Titled "Three Weddings and A Divorce," it explores the changing lives of Beijing women in the 20th century. The session looks at key milestones like women's access to education, the end of foot binding and how communism reshaped expectations of the "ideal" woman. Through the stories of three generations: a grandmother with "liberation feet," a retired office worker and a modern career woman, the talk traces a century of social change for women in the capital.
"Three Weddings and A Divorce" will be taking place at Beijing Postcards on Sat, Mar 7 from 10am to 11.30am. Tickets are RMB 150 and can be purchased by scanning the QR code below.
