CHEERS Sanyuanqiao, uh-huh and TRIBE All Announce Closure
There's sad news for the F&B industry in Beijing with three recent closure announcements. CHEERS has announced that they will be closing their Sanyuanqiao store, uh-huh Wine Bistro will also be closing, and TRIBE Nutrition ceased operations as of Oct 11.
CHEERS Sanyuanqiao
In an announcement in the CHEERS WeChat group, co-owner Claudia Masüger announced that they will be closing their Sanyuanqiao store by the end of October. They've occupied the spot at Sanyuanqiao for ten years, and it's seen many great wine buffets, parties and more over the years. It isn't all bad news though. CHEERS is already exploring exciting opportunities for new locations and will keep the CHEERS community updated when they've found a new spot. You can follow their official WeChat: CHEERSWines for any news. CHEERS' other locations, of course, are also all open, so you can still get your CHEERS fix at one of their numerous other stores.
Ahead of the Sanyuanqiao closure, they've also got some special deals up for grabs. Firstly, this Wednesday (Oct 22) will see their last Sanyuanqiao Wine Buffet (RMB 159, for free-flow select wines), and as a final send-off, they will be opening up ten bottles of wine instead of the usual five for patrons to enjoy. They are also offering 25 percent off all wines when you visit the store from now until closing.

In another blow to Beijing's wine-loving community, uh-huh announced in a post last week that after only two years in the capital, they will be unfortunately closing their doors in the next 30 days. In the statement, owner Sophie stated, “Perhaps my ideal wine bar is just not a good fit for Beijing.” However, she has promised to continue the uh-huh spirit of “Good Wine, Good Food, Good Vibe” in other forms. uh-huh's sister restaurant, Tangled, which opened earlier this year, remains open.
Before closing, uh-huh will be offering some special deals for customers, including 20 percent off all full bottles of wine from their cellar, and champagne by the glass will be available every day until closing. They've also got a few special events lined up to mark in your calendar before they close:

TRIBE Nutrition
Lastly, healthy meal plan spot and restaurant TRIBE Nutrition has also bid goodbye to the capital after 11 years here. They have already suspended their delivery services, and their Solana location has also already shuttered its doors. In their WeChat closure announcement, they state that the decision has been a difficult one to make and that “we may see each other again.” For customers who have not used up their stored value for meal plans, you can contact their customer service for a refund.
