Beijing News: Subway Line 1/Batong Line Adjustments, Oct 18-19

Due to upgrade operations, from 10pm today, Sat, Oct 18, to 6am tomorrow, Sun, Oct 19, three stations on Line 1/Batong Line will be closed, and only sections of the line will be operational.

Line 1/Batong Line Station Closures

  • 建国门站 Jianguomen
  • 东单站 Dongdan
  • 永安里站 Yong’anli

Jianguomen station on Line 2 and Dongdan station on Line 5 will remain open; however, transfers will not be possible during the period in question.

During the period of affected service, Line 1/Batong Line will be operational in two sections:

  • 古城站 Gucheng – 王府井站 Wangfujing
  • 国贸站 Guomao – 环球度假区站 Universal Resort

During this time, trains heading east from Gucheng will terminate at Wangfujing. Trains heading west from Universal Resort will terminate at Guomao.
