Three Things for the Week Ahead in Beijing (Feb 2-8)

There are discounted crêpes, a comedy love story and a pet-friendly Chinese New Year celebration this week in Beijing.

Eat – 50 Percent Off Sweet Crêpes at Panorama

Tomorrow (Feb 2), Panorama will be celebrating La Chandeleur by offering 50 percent off all of their sweet crêpes. For those unfamiliar, La Chandeleur is a French holiday celebrated each year on Feb 2, originally a pagan festival, it transformed into a Christian celebration around the 4th century. In modern times, it's become less religious and is now a time where families gather to make and eat crêpes (similar to Pancake Day).

So if you want to celebrate, or just want a great deal on some sweet crêpes, head on over to Panorama tomorrow! Our personal recommendation has to be the Tatin Crêpe, inspired by Tarte Tatin, it sees a crêpes topped with apple flambéed with rum, caramel, vanilla ice cream and whipped cream.
