it's just really nice to be able to see the beautiful view in beijing.as what we knew,it's been pollutated serously in the past couple months.i woud just say that the snow just rescued this city.
i've never expected when step out of door and will see this.i was shocked at the moment after after stepped out of the door heading to work.it's just incredible that the trees are totally covered by 2 inches of snow.
amazing!
There's an great bakery / cafe in Sanlitun soho called green coffee. Its not the best hang out spot but the pastries and coffees are surprisingly awesome. Though I have a feeling they'll succumb to the soho curse and shut down, so check it out while it's still there!!
if you like bread, try the 39℃ BAKERY
some great breads and coffee
i like the salt coffee and the whole wheat bread with seeds and grains on it. fcking awesome!!
Seems you have a little difficulty counting, Beijingers. Hint: The answer to the question is somewhere on this page. Somewhere near the top of this blog. Somewhere... forget it - the dates are on the image for this blog.

Re: Snow Shots: Winter Won't Quit
^ love the positive vibe of the post, Nankina!
Nothing like a fresh coating of snow to brighten spirits in this normally gray city!

Re: The 2013 Reader Restaurant Awards Results
Hey guys,
Are you going to do a category for Buffet next time?
Re: 2013 Reader Restaurant Awards: Voting Now Closed
We left the balloting open until the 8th.
Less than 5% of the votes came in after the 4th
We double checked the results we tabulated on the 4th with the remaining votes that came in afterward and there was no change in the results

Re: Record Breakers: Beijing Subway the World's Busiest
I feel some tension here people, relax, breathe, or better not...
Re: Record Breakers: Beijing Subway the World's Busiest
@admin - you are right, it is awesome.
And it has been built over only the past few years. Not that long ago, 1 and 2 were the only options (oh, and 13 for the country folk).
Re: Record Breakers: Beijing Subway the World's Busiest
Judging by the comments, Beijing's certainly in the running for Worst Sense of Humor and Most Cynical Residents
The subway costs 2 fucking kuai to go anywhere. There's rarely a breakdown or an accident.
10 million trips a day.
Call it what you want but I call it awesome
Re: Record Breakers: Beijing Subway the World's Busiest
''All of Norway could go to work and back on the Beijing subway in one day and it would not set a record.''
All of Norway? what all? The Air or the Salary of Norway v.s. Beijing?
''Beijing is the best. Again''
Again? Best Air polution?
''Beijing is the best. Again. Hooray. Today it was announced that Beijing Subway has overtaken Moscow's underground as the world's busiest. ''
To be the so called busiest means to be the best? Well, there is your daily portion of propaganda.
Re: Record Breakers: Beijing Subway the World's Busiest
Those comparisons are DUMB. How about comparing it to subway usage around the world?
Is this what passes for journalism in 2013?

Re: 2013 Reader Restaurant Awards: Voting Now Closed
Maximum people voted in the last (6-7th) 2 days, in lieu of reminders from many restaurants, etc. Quite unprofessional.
