Great story!

Annoying about the 200 kuai, but I get what the cop was saying to some degree. What's easier to deal with - paying a couple bucks to shut up some loony chick, or arguing with the loony chick? I'd give the couple bucks too.

This shit pisses me off.
A very similar thing happened to me last year.
If I knew where they lived I'd be there the next month to the day with bricks and bottles for their windows, and a handful of shit for their front door.

Sometimes the same is different, but mostly, it's the same.

some parts of this story just don't make sense...
it's sounding like the lady was nuts and caused all kinds of trouble including breaking tables and dishes yet the "guests" had to pay compensation.. even with the weird local customs, i don't get it.
something is amiss

well, some problems with comparing the chinese data and the usa embassy data as we do not know what the embassy measures, those details not given. in addition, can you tell me the difference between 'very unhealthy' and 'hazardous'? both weak descriptive terms which may be better replaced with a scale as used for skin cancer radiation (UV); 1-10 with 10 the most hazardous, (brilliant sunshine in the tropics) and 1 the least hazardous (a very cloudy, even foggy day in the winter in beijing or chicago).

How they gonna control something that isn't even happening or, if it was happening, how could they control something that isn't caused by humans?

I love my planet Vulcan. I'm proud of being a Vulcan in the universe.
