Eating too many delicious raw oysters at the Capital M opening party ... discovering cheap scallops at the Dongjiao Market and Yellow Valley's domestically made Gouda cheese ... enjoying La Pizza's pizzas ... Dining and (much) wining with W Dine and Wine's owner Geoffrey Weckx ... Buying decently priced and prepared pesto and mozarella at the Agrilandia station near my house ... Finding real Xinjiang beer at a dive on Baiziwan ... going through a whole year with no major laduzi incident to date (knock on wood)

Yet another case of high-quality venues being brought down by greedy, cheating, short-sighted landlords.

Hopefully they'll find another location soon. If nothing else, at least they've done the right thing by refusing to put up with that shit.

Of course, it's because it's Chinese men who need their egos assuaged.

I suspect most Chinese women didn't find the article very interesting, nor would they even if it focused on Japanese men marrying Chinese women. Meanwhile, I can imagine lots of Chinese men high-fiving each other while waving the article around at the KTV brothel.

With journalism that good, who needs talk show hosts to make cracks?

I also like how it's such a matter of pride that Japan's WOMEN are marrying chinese men. Why aren't they proud that Japan's MEN are marrying chinese girls?
