Where to Celebrate July 4th in Beijing
However you choose to celebrate Independence Day, there are plenty of options in town. There are pub quizzes, parties, drink deals and plenty of barbecue on offer. If you want to continue the fun (or delay gratification), AmCham is holding their annual event on July 5.
July 4
Independence Day Party
Celebrate America’s independence Irish-style. (We’re guessing that just means with lots of alcohol.) If you’re there in time for the weekly pub quiz, expect some American-themed trivia. Free. 7pm. Paddy O’Shea’s

Kro's Independence Day

USA Independence Day Special Cooking Class

Surely Havana Night is the opposite of celebrating American Independence? If it isn't then an evening at Little Britain must be. Remember that there are still lost of options for a night out if you want to avoid face-painting, whooping and Bruce Springsteen songs.

Just a few small notes on the Lush specials.. First is that 1st prize for the quiz is now a bottle of Fighting Cock Bourbon (more bang for the brain.) Secondly, and I'm sure a typo rather than a Freudian slip.. Might you have met "hangout" rather than "handout?" Finally, 40rmb for 6 tequila shots (jello shots are 20 for 3).
