Thousands of Opportunities To Caffeinate at 10,000 Possibility Coffee Market, Mar 19-21

Exactly how many cups of coffee can one person drink in a single day?

Well, you have the opportunity to find out this weekend (Mar 19-21), as Woodstock of Eating, one of Beijing’s more creative event organizers, holds the 10,000 Possibility Coffee Market at Longfusi.

Of course, don't actually expect 10,000 brands, but what you will find is booths from more than 40 boutique coffee shops and vendors, most of them independent, local brands. There’s not a single mass-market brand in the list of stalls – most are one-offs or small chains. Names you might have heard of include SOE, Metal Hands, Soloist, Seesaw, Berry Beans (who recently launched a collab with Slow Boat), and Big Small Coffee.

In addition, there'll be plenty of food vendors to help you stave off the caffeine shakes, including baked goods from The Bake Shop, okonomiyaki from Fatty Tunny, tacos and burritos from Avotaco, and vegan options from Take your Veggies, as well as merchants selling hand-crafted gifts.

The event runs Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10am-6pm, with advance tickets running RMB 60 per person, which you can purchase by clicking on the first image in this WeChat Post. Tickets will also be available for RMB 75 at the door, although Woodstock of Eating events tend to be very popular so best to purchase in advance (last year we popped by one of their markets at Longfusi and there was a line that stretched about a kilometer).

You'll have to buy your own coffee once inside, but if you get there between 10-11am on any of the three days, you will get an RMB 10 coupon to use at selected vendors. Some vendors are also offering discounts/special offers if you bring your own reusable coffee cup.
