The inaugural Beijing Art & Technology Week has kicked off in the 798 Art District. Running from now until Dec 7, it brings together more than 100 artists, technologists and industry leaders from around the world. Under the theme “Endless Life,” the event explores the intersection of art, AI and emerging technologies through over 60 exhibitions and 80+ talks, along with immersive experiences and some super cool interactive installations. Drink – Special Double Guest Shift at Beersmith

On Fri, Dec 5, from 8pm until midnight, Beersmith is doing a special Vender Bar collab night with guest shifts from master mixologists Darren Lim and John Ng. Lim is the co-founder of Taiwan-based bar Vender, a Singaporean- and SEA-inspired cocktail bar that ranked No. 20 in Asia's 50 Best Bars in 2025. He'll be serving three signature cocktails during the event: Kaya Toast, Curry and Mango Sago.
Ng is the Director of Wine & Spirits at Tasting Kitchen (TK) Media Group, and he'll be serving two limited edition Beijing-inspired beer cocktails on the night: Dry Winter Garden and Crimson Red. All the cocktails are RMB 128, and Beersmith will be doing an exclusive Southeast Asia–inspired Snack Platter to pair with them. You can read more about the event here.

Immerse – “A Journey of Five Realms” Art and Culture Exhibition at The Factory

The “A Journey of Five Realms” exhibition will be taking over The Factory from 3pm on Sat, Dec 6. This immersive showcase reinterprets the five realms through an art installation by Ella Hong and bespoke scents from Francesca Hanshing of Velveteen’s Secret Potions. The afternoon will include guided introductions to the exhibition as well as a five realm–inspired fashion show curated by Hanging Sense and five exclusive themed cocktails created by The Factory. The event is free to attend, but you're encouraged to register in advance by scanning the QR code in the poster above. Those who register before Dec 1 will also receive a free goodie bag when they arrive. You can read more about the event here.
