Places to Brunch it Up for Easter This Holiday Weekend

It's only a few days until Easter weekend, and this year, it coincides with the Qingming holiday, so we all get to enjoy a nice three-day weekend. This also makes it perfect if you're looking to get boozy with an Easter brunch! Here we've picked out a few brunches happening this weekend in Beijing with everything from the eggs-travagant to more low-key affairs. 

Kempinski Hotel

This year, the Kempinski is putting on a Dual-Restaurant Easter Brunch with two different buffets and free flow options on Saturday and Sunday. The first is at Signature's Restaurant and features a buffet with a range of seafood dishes, a carving station, Easter-themed desserts and free flow wine, beer and soft drinks. The other is on Paulaner's terrace and is a German-themed BBQ buffet with dishes like Crispy Pork Knuckle, Homemade German Sausages and more, plus free flow Paulaner beer and soft drinks.

EAST Hotel

Feast at the EAST Hotel will be doing an Easter edition of their usual weekend semi-buffet brunch. Their brunch includes a meal from their à la carte menu, plus all you can eat from their buffet, think fresh seafood, cold cuts, cheese, curry, pastries and more. To top it all off, you also get free flow beer, wine and soft drinks. They'll have special kids activities as well, such as an Easter egg hunt and egg painting to keep the little ones entertained. The Local

The Local will have an Easter brunch on Saturday and Sunday featuring a special soufflé pancake menu (see full details in the poster below), and their usual brunch menu will be available as well. The brunch on Sunday will have more family-friendly vibes with face painting and other activities for kids aged 12 and under. Regent Beijing

The Regent is offering Easter Brunch from Saturday to Monday, featuring festive pass-around food such as hot cross buns, roasted ham and an Easter-themed dessert trolley. They have two brunch options to choose from, either a Butterfly Champagne Brunch, which is a five-course meal with unlimited champagne. Then there is the Butterfly Bubble Brunch, which is a three-course meal with unlimited sparkling wine, house wine, cocktails and soft drinks.

Zarah

Zarah will be throwing an Easter-inspired version of their brunch buffet on Sunday. Festive highlights will include dishes like Fried Xiangchun Fritters, Avocado Spinach and Quinoa Salad, Pastry Bunnies and Colorful Easter Eggs. For kids, there will be an Easter hunt in their courtyard garden and for adults, there is the option to add on three hours of free-flow wine, prosecco, beer, and Zarah’s signature cocktails.
