Creativity and Craftsmanship - Twilight Bar Opens at Jianwai Soho

The duo behind this impressive cocktail and whiskey bar first opened the underrated er. They’re also among the partners at Apothecary. Although Twilight lacks the favorable Sanlitun address, it is wrought from the same creativity and craftsmanship.

Spirits are infused with fruit, ginger and chillis. There are house cocktails and twists on classics: a Bloody Mary includes tomato-and-chilli-infused vodka, with salt, pepper and crisp flecks of bacon sprinkled around the rim of the glass (RMB 60). The finer whiskeys include Lagavulin and Ardbeg.

Pizza, pasta and salads are available at lunch (sets from RMB 39) and dinner.
