Final Four voting closes at 4pm!

After two weeks of grueling matchups, the Beijinger Burger Cup is down to it’s Final Four, and only a few hours are left in voting to settle the contestants in the final head-to-head battle to crown Beijing’s best Burger joint. Vote here before 4pm.

A quick look at the four remaining contestants:

Blue Frog
Originally hailing from Shanghai, Blue Frog has won over more than a few Beijing converts with its primo locale in Sanlitun Village and its two-for-one burger specials on Mondays. Here’s what one punter has to say about Blue Frog’s burger: “The burger is pretty consistent and the outdoor patio is a great place to get your cheeseburger on. I also really like the blue cheese they use for their burgers. My only gripe is their ridiculous ‘we can't cook them less than medium’ horseshit. Strap on a pair and get a good grill man if you're serious about being a burger joint.”

The Den
The only remaining contestant that hails from Beijing, The Den has served many a burger in its more than 10 years in business in its Gongti area haunt. Though its better known as a bar, its all-night menu and congenial service has led many to praise it. One Den fan has this to say about her choice for Beijing’s best burger: “The Den never disappoints. Its classic Den Burger - fresh, delicious and free of pretension. Just a whole lot of mouthwatering goodness.”

Union Bar & Grille
This Sanlitun Village haunt traces its origins to its Hong Kong forebear and has slowly made itself known as a quality place for a meal and/or a drink. One Union faithful said this about their burger: “When you're paying a decent amount for a burger, you not only want something great, but something consistent. A place that you can rave about and then take your friends to, and have them all enjoy the same quality burger.”

Fatburger
The only of the final four that hails from the USA (Los Angeles, to be exact) was a latecomer to the burger scene with its first location opening several years ago in the the third embassy district, and only recently opening a second branch (in China World). Here’s what our resident burger expert Tom O’Malley had to say about the Fat One’s burger: “Your teeth sink into this baby. In fact, it’s so soft and yielding a baby could probably eat it (note – this is not recommended). The fluffy bread, the wilted lettuce, the squidgy, succulent beef, it could do with a bit of texture – a different or more crisply toasted bun, some crunchier fixings? It’s a nostalgic flavor profile, well-balanced and fast-food-y.”

What’s your choice? Be sure to let us know by voting here before 4pm today!

“The Den never fails to disappoint." So that means it always disappoints?
