Talking Pints: Super Heroes and the 6th of July
Mr. Paul Ryding is returning soon, so I remain at the controls until normal service resumes.
This weekend is all about the American Independence Day hangover. Fourth of July celebrations have mostly migrated to today (Saturday, July 6) this year.
Slow Boat Brewing Taproom is offering all-you-can-drink from noon until close, with burgers and bratwurst on the grill outside, along with homemade potato salad, baked beans, and apple and cherry pie.
Great Leap Brewing is offering a burger and any two of their beers for RMB 100, at both of their locations, from 2pm until close.
Cu Ju is celebrating 236 years of Moroccan-American friendship (Morocco was the first country to recognize the United States) with special cocktails that mix flavors from both countries, available all weekend.
Elsewhere, Beer Mania is celebrating their 8th anniversary with a Super Heroes party beginning at 6pm. A free keg of Hoegaarden gets tapped at 9pm and lasts until, well, as long as it lasts. That should last until about 3am or until people run out of super strength.
Have a good weekend.
