Global Flavors: All the Culturopolis Food & Drink Vendors

It's almost one week until our inaugural Culturopolis kicks off, all set to take place from Jan 31 to Feb 1 at Langyuan Station. For our food and drink vendors, we wanted to do things differently, focusing on international cuisine from across the globe, rather than a certain type of food. 

We've gathered a stellar lineup of vendors bringing authentic flavors from all corners of the world, covering everything from South America to Europe, Africa and beyond. So without further ado, let's take a look at just what's in store. 

NAVAT 中亚餐厅

Brand new restaurant NAVAT, which has yet to officially open in Beijing, will be making their debut at Culturopolis. They will be serving a range of authentic Kazakhstani dishes.  

Menu Highlight(s):

  • Lamb Kebab – lamb is marinated with onions, cumin and black pepper and cooked until it's crispy on the outside but still tender and juicy on the inside. 

Drinks:

  • Peach Skin Tea – dried apricot peel is simmered in water for hours and then garnished with dried fruits.

Side Street 街旁

Three-time Juicy Burger Cup Champions Side Street are the exclusive burger vendor for Culturopolis and they'll be launching a brand new burger at the expo. 

Menu Highlight(s):

  • Pork Fiction – a brand new burger featuring slow-cooked pulled pork served hot and juicy, topped with crunchy coleslaw and chipotle mayo. 
  • Spicy Pumpkin Soup – creamy pumpkin soup served steaming hot, with warming spices and a mild spicy kick.

Drinks:

  • Mulled Wine – warm red wine slowly heated with winter spices, offering a rich fruity taste with notes of cinnamon and seasonal flavors.

MORROW Cantina 墨佬墨西哥餐厅

MORROW will be showcasing the flavors of Mexico at Culturopolis. 

Menu Highlight(s):

  • Beef Rib Birria Taco – slow-cooked shredded beef ribs, tossed in Mexican barbacoa sauce, all wrapped in a crispy tortilla. 

SinJu Smokehouse 薪玖烤坊

SinJu Smokehouse will be serving a range of authentic Texas BBQ dishes at Culturopolis.  

Menu Highlight(s):

  • Texas-Style Smoked Brisket – U.S. IBP USDA Choice beef brisket is smoked low and slow over date wood for 12 hours. The beef is simply seasoned with coarse salt and freshly ground black pepper, allowing the natural flavors of the beef and smoke to shine through. 

Drinks:

  • Weissbier – a traditional German wheat beer with a refreshing taste.
  • Session IPA – a classic American West Coast-style Session IPA. 

Rak Thai•Thai Home Cuisine 爱泰风•泰式家常菜

Rak Thai will be showcasing their authentic home-cooked Thai dishes that use secret family recipes and high-quality ingredients imported from Thailand.

Menu Highlight(s):

  • Chef Ann's Signature Live-Cooked Pad Thai – freshly cooked pad Thai, featuring Chef Ann's secret family pad Thai sauce recipe. 
  • Sai Ua (Northern Thai sausage) – pork blended with fresh ingredients including lemongrass, galangal, garlic and makrut lime leaf.
  • Kanom Krok (Thai Coconut Pancakes) – a sweet coconut pancake that's crispy on the outside but soft and creamy inside. 

Drinks:

  • Thai Salty Cheese Milk Tea – rich Thai milk tea topped with a creamy cheese foam. 
  • Thai Lemongrass Tea – fresh, aromatic lemongrass tea with a gentle, soothing taste.

Sultan Turkish Restaurant 苏坦土耳其餐厅

Sultan will be offering up a range of their signature Turkish dishes at the expo.

Menu Highlight(s):

  • Beef Döner Wrap – traditionally prepared on a rotisserie grill, the beef is seasoned with spices and a hint of garlic, grilled until crispy and golden brown. It's thinly sliced and paired with fresh vegetables and homemade sauce nestled in a soft flatbread. 

Le Grenier à Pain 正本原

Le Grenier à Pain will be showcasing a variety of French baked goods at Cultruopolis.

Menu Highlight(s):

  • Galette des Rois – a traditional king cake made using premium French AOP butter, featuring crisp, layered puff pastry and a smooth almond cream filling.
  • Galette des Rois Pistachio – a festive twist on the classic, combining almond cream with tangy raspberry and rich pistachio.

Drinks:

  • Hot Chocolate – rich and smooth with deep cocoa notes.
  • Dark Rose Tea – a soothing tea with a delicate, rose aroma. 

LA PLATEA 兰蒂地中海餐吧

La Platea will be representing Mediterranean cuisine at Culturopolis with their array of Italian, Spanish and French dishes. 

Menu Highlight(s):

  • Porchetta Sandwich – a traditional Italian dish, porchetta is marinated pork that has been rolled up and slow-roasted for hours until a crispy "crosta" skin forms. Thick slices of it will be sandwiched inside focaccia bread. 

Drinks:

  • House Hot Chocolate
  • Mulled Wine

Gung Ho!  叫板!比萨

Gung Ho! will be offering a range of their signature pizzas at Culturopolis.

Menu Highlight(s):

  • Lord of the Lambs – roasted New Zealand lamb with tzatziki, grilled zucchini and fresh rocket.
  • Black Truffle – mixed mushrooms with black truffle sauce and truffle oil.
  • Margherita – buffalo mozzarella, tomato and basil leaves.
  • Pepperoni – savory and smoky pepperoni with mozzarella. 

SUSU 苏苏越南菜

SUSU will be bringing the flavors of Vietnam to Culturopolis. 

Menu Highlight(s):

  • Classic Beef Pho – a rich bone broth with homemade rice noodles, tender beef and fresh herb garnish. 
  • Hoi An Roast Chicken Leg – a traditional Hoi An-style roasted chicken served with zingy sauces.

Drinks:

  • Susu Cane Spiced Tea

Latina•Brazilian Steakhouse 拉蒂娜•巴西牛排馆

Brazilian churrasco purveyors Latina will have some of their signature Brazilian barbecue at the expo. 

Menu Highlight(s):

  • Picanha – picanha (rump cap) is a triangular cut of beef taken from the top of the rump, which has a layer of fat on the outside. While being barbecued, the fat seeps into the rest of the meat to make it juicy and tender.

Drinks:

  • Mulled Wine

Dastaan Indian Cuisine 达斯坦印度餐厅

Dastaan will be offering a range of winter-inspired Indian comfort foods at Culturopolis. 

Menu Highlight(s):

  • Chicken Cafreal – green chili and coriander infused Goan style grilled chicken.
  • Masala Dosa – a fermented rice and lentil batter crepe stuffed with spiced potatoes and served with lentil curry and homemade chutney.
  • Lamb Samosa – an Indian pastry stuffed with spiced minced lamb and green peas.

Drinks:

  • Masala Chai – green cardamom-infused Indian milk tea
  • Indian Libre
  • Vasco Verde – a Goan-style coconut-based cocktail
  • Tamarind Whisky Cooler

TRIBE GARDEN 部落花园非洲餐吧

TRIBE GARDEN will be bringing the flavors of West Africa to Culturopolis. 

Menu Highlight(s):

  • Goat Meat Spring Rolls – a West African twist on spring rolls featuring their signature goat meat seasoned with spices like suya.
  • Fried Plantains

Drinks:

  • African Ginger Tea

Great Leap Brewing 大跃啤酒

Beijing brewery Great Leap will be serving up some classic US dishes at Culturopolis, including some of their signature hot dogs. 

Menu Highlight(s):

  • Champion Beef Chili Dog – an all-meat sausage is slathered in spicy beef chilli and finished with melted cheddar cheese, all nestled in a hot dog bun. 

Drinks:

  • Crimson Berry Stout – a traditional stout with caramel and malt flavors is infused with strawberries, blueberries, blackberries and black currants, for a brew that has the essence of summer in a winter stout form. 

Georgia's Feast 格鲁秀色

Georgia's Feast will have some of their signature Georgian offerings at Culturopolis like khachapuri, kebabs and more.

Menu Highlight(s):

  • Mini Adjarian Khachapuri – the boat-shaped dough is stuffed with melted cheese and a fresh egg. 
  • Georgian Style Venison – a stew featuring New Zealand naturally raised venison that's prepared using an ancient hunter's braising technique. 
  • Chicken or Lamb Shish Kebab with Basmati Rice – selected premium cuts of meat are marinated with traditional Georgian spices, then slow-grilled over charcoal.

Drinks:

  • Mulled Wine
  • Black Tea

Berlin Bites 柏林百特

Berlin Bites will be representing German cuisine at Culturopolis, serving some of their signature Berlin street eats.

Menu Highlight(s):

  • Döner – their most famous product. You can choose between chicken or beef, served with fresh veggies and your choice of sauce, all inside their signature bread.
  • Dürüm –flatbread stuffed with either chicken or beef, served with fresh veggies and your choice of sauce.

XIANG SHAN FU YAN 香山福宴    

Beijing cuisine experts XIANG SHAN FU YAN will be offering some of their high-quality Chinese dishes at the expo.  

Menu Highlight(s):

  • Roasted Fresh Lamb Chops – these lamb chops are cooked using precise low-heat methods so that the meat stays tender and juicy.

Drinks:

  • Craft Beer
  • Cocktails
  • Hot Cocoa

Hi-Town Bistro Hi-Town海塘餐吧

Fusion food specialists Hi-Town Bistro will be turning their hands to British cuisine for Culturopolis.

Menu Highlight(s):

  • Fish and Chips – golden crispy breaded fish served with chips.
  • Jacket Potato – baked potato paired with various toppings.

Drinks:

  • Mulled Wine
  • Hot Toddy

CHEERS Wines 齐饮进口葡萄酒

CHEERS will be serving a range of wines, cocktails and more tipples, including some warming, seasonal cocktails.

Drinks:

  • Aperol Hot Drink – a warming, winter twist on an Aperol spritz. Aperol is blended with white wine and a smooth syrup and then gently heated. 
  • Sparkling Aperol Hot Drink – the same as above, but with a top-up of sparkling wine added for a dual texture of a warming base and cold fizz.

Culturopolis: The International Lifestyle Expo will be taking place at Langyuan Station's Central Station from Jan 31 to Feb 1. Entry to Culturopolis is free with advanced registration. You can sign up now by scanning the QR code in the poster above.
