This Week in Health and Fitness: Last Chance to Take Part in Fall Beijing Health Week, Be a Spin Instructor

This Week in Health and Fitness looks at the latest goings on in health and fitness around town so you can live your #bestlife.

The fall edition of Beijing Health Week wrapped up yesterday, but tonight marks the closing party at Zamani in the form of a yoga rave, held by Theresa Pauline and DJ Patrick YU. Wear a fitness-friendly Halloween-themed costume, get a sweat on, and then enjoy a cocktail and appetizer provided by Juice By Melissa. The event will also act as the Health Week awards ceremony. Tickets cost RMB 100 and proceeds go to Musana. Don't forget to take your yoga mat and wristband to join in the fun.

If you're looking to get your Halloween on but don't want to sacrifice your workout time, check out the Space is the Place Halloween party at SpaceCycle in Taikoo Li North, in collaboration with Tribe Organic. Priced at RMB 299 per person, participants get to take part in a spin class with live DJ, before feasting on organic food and cocktails provided by Tribe. They'll be taking the party to Mesh at the Opposite House at 9pm. Go dressed as your favorite space-themed character (I'm envisaging lots of Barbarellas and Boba Fetts) and get some free UV face paint done as well – if you don't sweat it all off during that spin class, that is.
