See – the Art of Alphonse Mucha at Today Art Museum
Today Art Museum in Shuangjing is host to an exhibition of the works of Czech artist Alphonse Mucha, a key player in the Art Nouveau movement known for his distinctly stylized and decorative posters and other works. You’ll find many of these in the show, along with a number of bronze works and stained glass by the artist.
Brilliance and Epic: The Artistic Poems of Alphonse Mucha is on until Jul 6 at the Today Art Museum. Tickets are RMB 50-128 and can be booked via the museum’s WeChat mini program (search 今日美术馆).

Fancy yourself a pool shark? Got a brain for billiards? Then it's time to put your skills to the test at Timekeepers x Ball House’s weekly Pool Competition. Eight winners can enter, but only one will be crowned champion in this knock-out tournament. Head there Wednesday before 9pm to take part. All players get a free beer.

Learn – "Illuminating the Possibilities: Lessons in Leadership from the Thai Cave Rescue" at JinShang Yuan, May 16
Joshua Morris, a key figure in the 2018 Thai Cave Rescue, will be leading a keynote and Q&A session at JinShangyuan on May 16 in collaboration with EO Beijing Metropolitan. The session offers insights into leadership, trust, resilience, and relationship-building under extreme pressure. After the discussion, there will be a chance for attendees to network with refreshments and drinks.
"Illuminating the Possibilities: Lessons in Leadership from the Thai Cave Rescue" will be taking place from 7pm-9.30pm at JinShang Yuan Indoor Garden. Tickets are RMB 298 RMB and can be purchased by scanning the QR code in the poster above, attendance for EO Beijing Metropolitan members and prospects is free.

Dance – House of Vibes 1 Year Anniversary
House of Vibes is celebrating its first anniversary this Saturday with a big bash at The Box. A mix of DJs will be bringing the old and classic, the new and smashing, a bit of Amapiano, 3-step, Deep House, Afro House, Afro Tech and Gqom. Gifts and complimentary surprises will be happening all night, too.
House of Vibes’ 1 Year Anniversary is happening on Saturday, May 17 from 8pm at Fusion at The Box. Tickets are RMB 75-115 per person and can be booked by scanning the QR code in the poster.
