The Owner Lisa, pulls scams often with foreigners. She often pulls men from Tinder and Badoo for dates at her resturant. Primarily for marketing purposes and for you to cover the hefty/large bill in the end of the night. Food lacks quality and taste, but looks pretty. Later I find out my buddy Chris also got pulled.

This might be a wild generalisation, but I would argue the types of foreign customers that frequent hutong-based bars/restaurants are more likely to both speak Chinese, and have more interactions with local Beijingers than those that frequent Sanlitun.

For example, someone that stops by Cellar Door for a beer, may have a few moments earlier been to one of the hutong's many grocer shops, and had a nice interaction with a Beijinger who's been living in the hutongs for decades. Whereas someone who is having a beer in Sanlitun may have just been shopping in the local face-less supermarket, without any meaningful interactions.

I am also a big of of these stickers..But in WeChat you must have them saved in your mobile deveice.. WhatsApp is way ahead in this particular thing as it provides so so many Gifs on the server.. Just go to GIF and then search a keyword like TGIF, Sorry, What the Hell, What? When will this stop? Oh no, and a lot of related GIFs will appear..

Open from 9am onward, this Xingfucun restaurant and cafe will have a big screen set up, along with plenty of tempting eats like mini sausage balls, poutine, and many more selections from their regular breakfast menu, not to mention pitcher drinks.

The BBD brewery will be open from 10am-1pm to show the fight. Their brunch menu will be available, and there's a free flow beer package for RMB 138 per patron.
