Battle of the Pods

This one is for anyone who has ever walked out of a party thinking “that DJ was terrible.” Its your turn to step up to the plate. If you haven't heard of an iPod Battle, welcome to the know.

There is no real consensus about where the idea started, but it has obviously taken off in France and Montreal. Here are the basics: you bring your team on stage with a short playlist and all the flair you can muster. Just like any other battle you don’t have to be the best; just better than the other guy. You do have to entertain and keep it moving fast, most sets last under a minute. The audience decides who stays or goes so the surviving team is the one who can please the masses, or brings the most loyal friends.

iPod battles have been held in Shanghai, and this event makes its debut in Beijing this Saturday (July 11) at Scarlett. If you'd like to participate register by Thursday to make sure your squad makes it on stage.
