absolutely YES.

...been in China for almost six years and tanghulu is still one of my favorite treats and the only reason i ever go to houhai.. those huge ones with big stawberries, half a kiwi, huge chunk of pineapple, etc... Isn't tanghulu just about the only thing worth enduring a beijing winter for?

Well you did buy four. When you could have just bought two, and used the difference for a tanghulu.

Tanghulu? People, other than FOB foreigners, tourists, and spoiled little kids actually eat that crap? Give me a shrimp hat any day.

Today's deal isn't bad considering Apple doesn't have discounts at all. Even if the wireless keyboard is something people might not need desperately, 468 kuai instead of 548 kuai is enough incentive to try it out. Same with the Magic mouse.
Other things that are cheaper than on Taobao and also are pretty cool:

Thule 13" Attache Case
Thule Crossover

I'm thinking about upgrading my laptop, but I guess 770 off isn't enough to motivate me to purchase a Pro today.

Nothing to see here

It's nice to see that chiropractors in China are just as pseudoscientific as they are in the West. It's the one pseudoscience that most people assume is pretty legitimate, and at the basic level they can be as decent as a physiotherapist or qualified masseuse, but the trouble is mixing all the other things in there that make them far worse, yet you get charged even more.
1. 'adjustments' are at best fairly useless, and at worst highly dangerous. Some basic lower back pain might be helped by physical therapy, but adjustments of the spine through chiropractic have actually killed people.
2. The magnesium probably won't do you much damage, but there isn't a great deal of evidence that it helps muscle cramps, even in very severe cases where extreme cramping is possible (eg long distance cycling).

As I said though, nice to see an area where East and West fail equally.

Too pity it will happen on the 6th! When is their next show in Beijing, or anywhere on earth?

I like Welcome to my life the most. Smile
