The Beijing Blender

We're proud to present the latest addition to the thebeiinger.com stable - The Beijing Blender Podcast. Produced by a talented team of people working outside our office, the Blender offers you a rich mix of the best events, classifieds and other great stuff taking place on our site. Below we let the Beijing Blender team introduce themselves:

True to its name, the Beijing Blender Podcast takes the various goings on in China’s capital city and gives it to you in a nice, convenient carry-away package, downloadable to your mp3 player. The crew of the Beijing Blender has dedicated themselves to creating a platform for fun and creativity that rests on the pulse of the Beijing scene.

Under the inspirational leadership of Kor-E, a musician who earns a living by perfecting the use of his best instrument, his mouth, the Beijing Blender is an amalgamation of talents from the United States and Europe.

AliKlay, a native of Philadelphia, is known for her sixth sense: the ability to find gems hidden under piles of (sometimes unsavory) clutter. She brings news of interesting and usually lucrative job offers for those of you looking to augment your CVs, or just hoping to pay your next month’s rent.

You nomads out there, keep your ears open for Chris Cook. His strong British nose sniffs out the best travel deals of the week so that you make the most of your time in China. This jack-of-all-trades also produces the original tracks that create the musical foundation of the Beijing Blender podcast.

Julieluu is also known as the Beijing Love Guru. With three (and counting) successful matchups under her belt, it is evident that no one knows more about compatibility than her. She has made it her life’s work to help the Beijing lovelorn find their perfect mates in this crazy, mixed-up city.

Margo, Margo, Margo. A true international soul that has seen the best and the worst of human nature and lives to tell some wild tales. She’s wise to the core; you’ll always want more from Margo.

And of course, what podcast would be complete without a sound engineer to make sure that every edition sounds absolutely perfect? Before each Beijing Blender podcast is made public, Wayne and his Sniper Sounds Post Production team seclude themselves in the studio, finding refuge only in their heavy duty headphones.
