Talking Tunes: Bob Log III, LMT Connection, Wye Oak and Sara Lov
I'm all set for a busy Saturday. First I have to go here – stupid work stuff – but afterwards I'll have to hightail across town to get to 2 Kolegas in time for the Wye Oak show. It's one not to be missed, I reckon. Even if I have only known of the band since I heard one of their tracks on The Walking Dead.
Wye Oak: The Zombie Contingent's Choice
Wye Oak are in China for shows in Shanghai and Beijing this weekend as part of an Asia tour, and we're as excited as they are. We managed to grab a word last week with one half of the Baltimore duo, Jenn Wasner. She was happy to tell us about their intimate lyrics, her mom knowing too much about her, and the sudden popularity spike that comes when you're featured in top US zombie drama The Walking Dead.

In June 2002, North Korea's late leader Kim Jong-il, went on a brewery tour. He had a taste for pricy boozem says Reuters.

Everyone is Irish on St. Patrick's Day. Of course, by "is Irish" we mean "has a good reason to get hammered." Check out our St. Paddy's Day guide below to plan your weekend celebrations.
Talking Tunes: A Blinging Good Start to the Weekend Before the Big One on Wednesday
Quiza ft. BX - One Dream
Mongolian Bling should be good tonight. It's not strictly a music show, but a screening of a documentary about the hip-hop scene in Mongolia followed by performances from some of the film's stars and a Q&A session with director Benj Binks. We interviewed Benj earlier this week – check that out here.
