Community Matters: Run for Charity in the DPRK

Koryo Tours has announced that they will be organizing a charity Fun Run in North Korea on May 1. The first of its kind, this run will be open to all tourists in Pyongyang and will coincide with Koryo’s tours in the DPRK over the May holiday. The run will be divided into 5 km and 10 km stretches along Sports Street in Pyongyang's Mangyongdae District. A minimum donation of EUR 20 is required to participate. Funds raised will go to buy milk powder for the Nampho Orphanage. Fantastic legwork by Koryo. We can only imagine the bureaucratic nightmare they must have faced setting this up. For more information and to take part in this unique event send an email to info@koryogroup.com.

Watch this video introducing the run (It's almost as good as that Gagnam Style Parody above).
