Talking Tunes: Is Justin Bieber Coming to Beijing?

As the weekend comes galloping up again, there's news of a potential Beijing stopover on Justin Bieber's Asia tour and details of the weekend's musical highlight: the Hanggai Music Festival.

Chinamusicradar is reporting that Justin Bieber will stop in Beijing as part of a three-date tour of China. They cite QQ Entertainement who have a screenshot of the teen star's tour schedule on his official website, though I saw no such thing when I checked it 30 minutes ago. Curiouser and curiouser. [Update: the show is now appearing on live events industry website Pollstar.] Who knows, when Bieber's buddy Usher played Beijing in 2010, maybe he had such a good time he told the Bieb to stop here too?

World music extravaganza, Hanggai Music Festival 2013, begins on Friday (June 14) at Mako Live House in Shuangjing. BeijingDaze has previewed the show and has a rundown of the acts that will be performing over the three days (June 14-16). Tickets are still on sale.

Some of the highlights of the coming days:

The uke's favorite son will play us out with "Leaning On A Lamp Post".
