Disco Derby: Beijing's First Roller Disco Party Debuts Monday

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know firsthand that Beijing drivers are notoriously bad with a scathing contempt for everyone else on the road. TurnUp events has a solution: turn all the drivers into roller-skaters!

We kid. But TurnUp is throwing Beijing’s first ever Roller-Skating Disco Party this Monday (Sep 30), which means we might soon be seeing a lot more of this and a lot less of this.

On Monday night, put on your grooviest tie-dye and head out to Mako Live House to skate the night away. DJs MRG and Max at Large will be dropping boogie-worthy beats, and prizes will be handed out to the best disco-themed costume around. The RMB 80 entrance fee includes skate rentals and one free drink, but costume-clad souls and guests who bring their own skates will enjoy a RMB 30 discount.
