Talking Pints: Hallow's End and the Rest of Your Weekend

Almost done. The longest holiday celebration in living memory is almost over. Just one more weekend to go. Still no shortage of Satan-celebrating shenanignas this weekend.

Ironic that the most talked about party this weekend is actually one taking place over there in Tianjin, and if you're going there, you're highly unlikely to be reading this. So I don't know why I bothered to mention it. And now I'm too lazy to delete it out now. Ah, well.

Plenty to terrify us here in the capital anyway. Tonight there are spookily-themed bashes at:

Take your pick.

The Stumble Inn looks closed for a while. A phone call to the management revealed some running repairs were required in the kitchen, but they were unable to put a timeframe on how long it might take to fix up.

And we just found out that drum 'n' bass legend Goldie will be returning to Beijing as part of The Syndicate's Christmas knees-up On December 20 at Dada.

If you're plain bored of costume-bufoonery by now, Alfa is offering a cash prize to the best dressed drag queen in town, and Haze turns two. While Dada welcomes "the godfathers of Finnish skwee" to Gulou.

Tomorrow (Nov 2) is probably one of the finest drinking days on the calendar. Anyone who's anyone will be at the 2013 Hilton Beijing Food & Wine Experience between 11am and 7pm. What a messy, messy day that normally turns out to be. Classy as well, of course. To the evening, there's Los Residentes at Migas to end the night.

Loads more, of course. You just need to click here to see it.

Have a wonderful weekend.
