This is How Cool a Hutong Looks Built With Lego

Hong Kong Lego artist Andy Lung has ingeniously created a Beijing siheyuan, or hutong courtyard home, out of, you guessed it, Lego. His creation includes elders playing mahjong, a yelping puppy, a woman sweeping the courtyard and hipster tourists with cameras, green pants and sunglasses standing in the crowded alley outside.

Fun details worth seeking out are the lovely pink lotus flowers scattered in and around the courtyard, watering cans, a cat hunting on the edge of a goldfish pond and a pink boom box. Can you spot anything else cool we've missed?

Below are photos of his piece, entitled Sunshine of Siheyuan Garden, which the Legend Bricks Hong Kong Lego Creators Club's have posted on their Facebook page. Boy would we love to have this awesome Beijing model displayed under our office Christmas tree.

See Sunshine of Siheyuan Garden at the Hutong x Hutong exhibition until Dec 22.
