New Direct Flights from Beijing to Auckland and Copenhagen

Even more non-stop flights will be originating in Beijing soon.

Beijing Capital Airlines, the expanding airline upon which no one seems to have flown (we know, it's part of Hainan Airlines), is now flying non-stop to Copenhagen from both Beijing and Hangzhou. This service appears to be a regularly-scheduled charter. However, if you're going to Copenhagen to dine at one of the world's best restaurants, Noma, then it's pretty convenient.

Air China will start flying to Auckland non-stop from Beijing on December 10, just in time for the Southern Hemisphere's summer. New Zealand continues to get ecstatic reviews from travelers, including having just been named the world's best country for single travelers. But there have been a few problems with drivers from China on New Zealand's roads.

Coming Thursday, a review of what's still available for October 1 (hint: not too much, but maybe more than you think).
