Celebrate Your Inner Hipster at Sanlitun's Woodstock of Eating Nov 20-21

As winter approaches, it’s sometimes far too easy to let Beijing's gloomy weather – colder, shorter days, an extra layer of grit in the air from residual coal-fired winter heat – dampen your spirits, and in extreme cases, cause you to become an utter shut-in.

They say there's one cure for seasonal depression (yes, it’s a real thing), and that is to surround yourself with others.

You've got the perfect opportunity to surround yourself with others – and partake in a foodie-centric festival of epic proportions this Friday and Saturday (starting at 4pm) at the Woodstock of Eating Night Bazaar at Sanlitun Soho, where just about every local artisan and bespoke food vendor you can think of is gathering for two evenings of indulgence.

The event, modeled after the Brooklyn Night Bazaar, is an assemblage of music, art, entertainment, clothing and jewelry, and of course food.

With over 70 vendors, many of whom sell unique artisan items, you’ll be hard-pressed not find something of interest. And with over 30 food vendors, you’ll be hard-pressed not find something to shove into your face.

The 2000-square-meter venue is indoors at Sanlitun Soho, so no need to worry about smog, rain, wind or frigid weather.

The way it works is this: RMB 50 gets you in the door, and gives you access to the entire bazaar but also an awesome afterparty at Migas (there's one Friday and another Saturday). For a RMB 10 discount, you can scan their QR code below:

You can also try bugging the co-organizers Oliver (张琦) 139 1074 4378 or Nafy (边忭) 138 1004 3332 about tickets.
