The InterContinental Hotels Group’s long-awaited Char Steakhouse has officially opened, located in the Crowne Plaza Beijing Lido Hotel’s most private space on the first floor. This is the second Char Steakhouse in China following the opening of its original sister outlet in Shanghai. The Char Steakhouse is defined by a melding of simple of flavors with playful presentation, delivering a fine yet refreshingly informal dining experience.

Char is the only steakhouse in town serving wagyu eye fillet beef from David Blackmore’s awarding-winning, environmentally sustainable ranch in Australia. Diners can choose from five different handcrafted steak knives imported from around the world, six varieties of flavored sea salt, and three different types of mustard, all presented to your table for a regal experience; it’s not difficult to see why Char is the beef-lover’s choice among Beijing’s steakhouses.

Whether visiting for an intimate dinner or a sophisticated luncheon, Char Steakhouse presents the joy of quality cuisine in an elegant yet relaxed dining environment.
