Lali Puna
Sure, at first glance this one might seem like a stretch for our beats column. Lali Puna isn't a DJ, after all, but instead a band who can count Radiohead’s Colin Greenwood among their famous fans. That doesn't meet this German troupe strictly adheres to indie rock conventions, however. On the contrary, they cite indie beat and groove dynamos like Caribou and Mount Kimble as primary influences, helping them become "one of Europe’s biggest indie-tronica bands," according to a press release promoting the gig. Their current tour sees them promoting their latest release, Two Windows, which, according to that same press release, "sounds lush and focused, balancing the emotional qualities of songwriting with energetic rhythms." If that's not enough to get you dancing, nothing will. RMB 120, RMB 100 (advance). 9pm. Yugong Yishan
