Friday, Jul 6

rRoxymore
Who says you need to be outgoing to put on a great show and drum up plenty of music industry buzz? Rising Berlin techno DJ and producer rRoxymore made a splash last fall after releasing her three-track EP Thoughts of an Introvert on Bandcamp. Little wonder it garnered a positive response from critics and fans – the tracks are simultaneously hypnotic, hazy, bright, and pulsating in a way that transport you to the future through the lens of an '80s sci-fi flick. It's fun, savvily layered, unpredictably crafted stuff that'll stimulate your mind and inspire you to dance. RMB 80. 10.30pm. Dada

Eclectic Electric Party Animal Edition
DJ Half/N/Half and Pierre Camerossi hit the decks at snazzy Taikooli North lounge InfraRouge this Friday. Half/N/Half's name is an ode to her mix of Irish and Chinese heritage, and she's also known for blending genres like tech house and world music. Camerossi, on the other hand, is a Melbourne underground techno vet with two decades of experience and an impressive list of acts that he has opened for or shared the stage with, including Beyer, Carl Cox, and Plastikman. RMB 50. 10pm. InfraRouge

techNOrules: Girls Can’t What?
TechNOrules' female-empowering party series is back and is this time headlined by Beijing rising techno star Diva Li. Other female DJs like Aida, Sunmeng, and Pei round out the roster along with VJ FlagariC for a backdrop of beat-driven visuals. For a more detailed look at techNOrules' mission statement, check out our recent Q&A with Diva Li here or our interview with Aida, who details techNorules' feminist ethos, here. RMB 50. 10.30pm. Lantern

Dutch DJ, producer, and founder of label Hard with Style Headhunterz (born Willem Rebergen) is a hardstyle headliner who has played at numerous top clubs around the globe, not to mention festivals like Electric Daisy Carnival and Tomorrowland. RMB 120. 10pm. One Third

Pancake Lee and Friends

Big Miz
This Glasgow-hailing DJ and producer is a rising star thanks to his popular and critically acclaimed incorporation of Chicago house and techno. Earlier this year he put out Build / Destroy, stacked with a mixture of upbeat, minimalistic, dissonant, and eerie bangers that are part unsettling, part euphoric. Price TBD. 10pm. Dada

Wasabi Sound
At Lantern this Saturday, guest DJs like Harry Ho and Ou Yang will spin an eclectic mix of techno-house, deep house, goa, as well as rock beats with electronic rhythms in Room #1. Next door, Wasabi Sound hold down Room #2 with DJs VLTRA_U, Eric Lee, Shen Yue, and 2MM keeping the thumping rhythms going well into the wee hours. RMB 50. 10.30pm. Lantern
