On Jul 13, Sunrise Kempinski Hotel Beijing and Opera BOMBANA will come together to host a pop-up restaurant at Views Restaurant, located on the top floor of Sunrise Kempinski Hotel Beijing. Guests are invited to experience an exquisite dinner by Executive Chef Eugenio Iraci from renowned restaurant Opera BOMBANA, complemented by the beautiful scenery of Yanqi Lake.

Opera BOMBANA is the restaurant concept created by three Michelin-starred Chef Umberto Bombana in downtown Beijing. It is an expression of Chef Bombana’s passion for the basic elements of Italian gastronomy and culture, delivering a unique interpretation of great Italian food in the forms of dining, bakery, pastry, cocktails, and coffee. Views Restaurant, on the other hand, offers an exclusive way to experience local delicacies, set in a space with breathtaking views. Pop-up restaurant events have been held at Sunrise Kempinski Hotel Beijing and Yanqi Island several times and the hotel is committed to providing a rich and varied culinary experience for guests, creating a casual and social platform for food lovers. This time, the collaboration between these two culinary forces is set to create an unforgettable gastronomic experience.

Influenced by the food culture of his hometown in Italy, Executive Chef Eugenio Iraci from Opera BOMBANA fell in love with the culinary arts at a young age. He became an executive chef when he was 24 years old and has since worked all over the world. His food has a strong sense of regionality, while also maintaining the principles of cutting-edge fine dining. During the national event APEC and Belt and Road Forum, Chef Eugenio cooked for high-level leaders.

For this pop-up restaurant event, he and his team have designed an exclusive five-course menu. With the perfect combination of luxurious ingredients, such as black truffle, foie gras, Boston lobster, and Australian wagyu beef, and Chef Eugenio’s great cooking techniques, as well as creative ideas, the dinner will offer guests with an unforgettable gastronomic night alongside the breathtaking Yanqi Lake.

Sunrise Kempinski Hotel Beijing is offering a pop-up restaurant weekend retreat package at the price of RMB 2,588 for one person or RMB 3,876 for a couple, including one night’s stay in a deluxe room, a five-course dinner at Views Restaurant and a buffet breakfast. Dinner only is priced at RMB 1,288 per person.
