Planning to Take Lots of Photos Over Mid-Autumn Break? Share Them With Us!

Best of Beijing in Photos showcases photos from readers from across Beijing, in hopes of showing the capital as it's seen though different eyes (and camera lenses), all in one place.

Note: All photos were given to us by the photographers with the purpose of soliciting feel-good pics of Beijing for use in our social media feed.

It’s almost time for another holiday – the Mid-Autumn Festival is happening on Sep 10, complete with a three day weekend to celebrate!

Over the break you’re bound to take photos of time spent over the holiday. Why not share them with other Beijinger readers so as to show off the Best of Beijing holidays?

Whether you’re a professional photographer or just take a few snapshots here and there, we’re looking to see the best photos from your Mid-Autumn celebrations in Beijing and, in turn, we’ll share it with fellow readers!

Moon gazing, eating mooncakes, and taking part in any and all holiday festivities (the Belt & Road Food Fest is a great example) in the capital – all photos are welcome.

Remember: You're welcome to submit any image, as long as it was taken in Beijing, the more obvious that it's in Beijing (say in front of Beihai Park or in the Forbidden City) the better.

How to submit?

1. The easiest way is to tag us (#thebeijinger) on Instagram, but if you don't have Insta, you can join our special photography group. To join, simply add TBJButler (WeChat ID: TBJButler) and ask to be added into “Best of Beijing in Photos”

2. Once you've been added, you can upload a favorite photo you took in Beijing and then write a short introduction to the photo.

3. Share it on your WeChat moments and mention the Beijinger and invite your friends to like your pictures.
