Busy Holiday 1: Slowboat Oktoberfest, Techno Train & More
It's almost the National Holiday! While many of you may be leaving Beijing for the holiday, for those who are staying put, there is still plenty to do! We'll be releasing a list of a few things to do each day of Golden Week to keep you occupied, starting with tomorrow, Oct 1.
Bloom Market at THE BOX
THE BOX is currently hosting Bloom Market, a lively event with music, food, and a creative pop-up market. Running until Oct 4, it includes activities such as a photo scavenger hunt and a Bloom Coin game, where if you spend over RMB 50 at the market, you'll get the chance to win some fun prizes. Universal Music will also present an interactive album cover exhibition featuring stars like Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, and Lady Gaga. With boutique stalls, handmade crafts, and plenty of eats and drinks, the market is a colorful spot to visit during the holiday.

Slowboat's Annual Oktoberfest
Slowboat's Annual Oktoberfest kicks off tomorrow across all their locations in the capital. Running until Oct 31, it sees a month full of Baviran-themed special deals. First up, during Oktoberfest, one-liter steins of Drink Like a Fish Pilsner will only be RMB 55 (normally RMB 90). They'll also have Soft Bavarian-Style Pretzels (RMB 35/three), which will be baked fresh daily and come served with your choice of dip: Sweet Honey Mustard or Sour Cream Dill Wasabi. Lastly, Slowboat will be selling Bavarian Party Sets (RMB 198), which include a Sausage Platter, two one-liter steins of Drink Like a Fish Pilsner and three fresh pretzels, the perfect sharer for you and your crew!
Slowboat's Annual Oktoberfest will be taking place from Oct 1 to Oct 31 across all of their locations.
Late Knights x Techno Train at TRACK
The legendary Techno Train returns to Beijing tomorrow, with a special crossover edition alongside WildKats' Late Knights concept. Taking over TRACK, the “train carriage turned club,” it'll be 12 hours of non-stop music from 6pm to 6am, with nine DJs, including Berlin's KaterUnser from the Olith label. Expect everything from open-air grooves to tunnel pressure all night long.

Natural Flavor's 13th Anniversary Party at Migas Mercado
Hip-hop party specialists Natural Flavor will be celebrating their 13th anniversary with a big bash at Migas Mercado's terrace tomorrow. Established in 2012, Natural Flavor has become China's longest-running hip-hop party and has become a cultural landmark, hosting events in cities nationwide and even welcoming legends like New York rapper Talib Kweli. At tomorrow's event, they've got a great line-up of three DJs: DJ Nasty Ray, DJ Fat-J and DJ Flvcko. You can expect a night of pure hip-hop and R&B, with everything from '80s funk and '90s classics to today's trap and drill, all mixed like the freshest cocktail.
Natural Flavor's 13th Anniversary Party will be taking place at Migas Mercado on Oct 1 from 11.30pm until 4am. Early bird tickets are RMB 100, presale tickets are RMB 120 and tickets at the door are RMB 150 and can be purchased by scanning the QR code in the poster above.
