China’s First Pet Empire: Lee Pet Opens in Chaowai Soho

China’s first pet empire – partnered with US giant PetSmart – ensures that no pet in town need go unpampered. Lee Pet’s Chaowai Soho branch is now Beijing’s largest pet store.

Inside, you'll find not only a diverse range of imported products, but also in-house grooming (RMB 20-50), photography (from RMB 100) and kennel services (from RMB 50/day).

Pet food comes in a range of premium foreign brands, from Eukanaba (RMB 72 for 1.5kg) and Science Diet (RMB 170 for 2.3g) to Cesar (RMB 8.5/can).

Multivitamins (from RMB 20), shampoos (RMB 70-100) and cute garb (RMB 40-70) are also on hand to help keep your furry loved ones healthy and adorable. went there last week. has a great selection and their price for eukanuba can't be beat.

the cashier was really slow, but since the place and staff are new, i'll let that one slide.

also, i got a FREE membership card, which is rare in china. even at sephora here, you have to pay (when you don't pay a dime in the US).
