Midi New Year’s Eve Bash Lineup Announced

In news just to hand, Midi have announced the lineup playing at the Midi Awards on New Year’s Eve.

Now in their second year, the Midi Awards remain the one and only rock music awards in China. Much of China’s rock royalty will be on hand to see who collects the most gongs (actually bricks) and see in the new year with performances from the following acts:

Hanggai
Free the Birds (nominated for the Best Female Vocalist Award)
Miserable Faith (in the running for several awards, including Song of the Year and Best Album)
Namo (nominated for Best New Artists Award)
Nancheng Erge
Misandao (nominated for Best Hard Rock Performance)
Finger Family (also nominated for Best New Artists Award)

Each group will reportedly perform “three or four” songs according to the organizers, and performances will be interspersed throughout the awards.

interesting lineup they came up with.. or maybe "diverse" is a better description.
Free the Birds is also scheduled to play the NYE show at 2 Kolegas.... they're gonna be crazy busy that day.
