Ha Ha, Very Funny: Win Tickets To ChopSchticks This Weekend!

If you're in dire need of a laugh, this weekend will be the light at the end of the smog-ridden tunnel. Beijing comedy stalwarts ChopSchticks are putting on another set of not-to-be-missed shows at the Hard Rock Cafe. This time they are bringing over the Chicago Improv All-Stars, also known as Baby Wants Candy back in the Windy City. The troupe promises to deliver some hilarious Whose Line Is It Anyway?-style entertainment. Considering that their shows have been good enough to attract guest performers from Saturday Night Live, 30 Rock and MadTV, we think they'll deliver on that promise. To get a sneak preview of this weekend's show, you can see a video here.

ChopSchticks have also been good enough to offer our readers some free tickets. To find out how to win them, keep reading.

To win tickets to the laughfest, just tell us your favorite word from the language that the word "schtick" comes from. Leave it as a comment at the bottom of this blog post and state whether you prefer Friday or Saturday. We'll do our best to get you what you want.

ChopSchticks laughs it up at the Hard Rock Cafe Fri Nov 11 at 8pm, and Sat Nov 12 at 7pm and 10pm. Tickets are RMB 300 at the door, or RMB 250 if purchased by today (Wed Nov 9). Tickets can be bought through their website here.

If you still need convincing, here's what the press has been saying about them:

Since my friends and I were 7 years old, we have had the chutzpah to say

"Gay Kaken Afniya!"

(Go poo in the ocean!).

If we said this in front of our bubbies and zeidis, we might get slapped on the "tuchus." The yentes totally digged it though.

For sake of the contest: give it to tuchus for Friday night
