The Great Christmas 2011 Guide: Dining Out Extra!
For the record, I'm pretty sad that Hanukkah isn't big in China. Ditto for Kwanzaa. And all the other other-denominational holidays that I'm forgetting (Festivus!). But, y'know, if you think of Christmas as just a day for people to be extra-nice and to eat a lot, surely everyone could get on board with that. Here are some suggestions for eating out on Christmas Day, and a couple more for Christmas Eve (our previous Christmas Eve dining out post here).

Both SALT and Terra do! 2 courses - 218, three courses 258 - And they are serving way more than turkey and cranberry jam - seriously, does any one really enjoy dry turkey and blah pudding for Xmas? (Terra is going South-American style with Roast Suckling Pig yummmmm...) - you can also add free flow...
Anyone found a Xmas dinner (25th December) for less than 280 RMB? Expensive hotel offerings aside, here's what I can find: Stumble Inn Christmas dinner 280 RMB, Blue Frog 280 RMB, Flamme 280 RMB, The Filling Station 280 RMB - three courses, no drinks included (give or take a glass of mulled wine). Bah humbug. What gives with the 280? It's only a bit of turkey and a few spuds.
