Winter Wools: Cashmere Crush Opens in Shuangjing

Amid the galleries and coffee shops in Pingod’s Art Plaza stands a bright showroom for luxury knits, the flagship store for Cashmere Crush. Lined with wool garments in neutral shades and bright hues, the uncluttered space draws shoppers in to gaze (and paw) at the cashmere.

The focus is effortless chic. All of the pieces are either 100 percent cashmere or merino wool-cashmere 70/30 blends. Subtle silk and leather accents are the sole embellishments.

Designer Prisca Daehn is eager to recommend a piece and to discuss how to style the versatile designs. Her personal input and the excellent clothing construction is exactly what will reassure women who are considering investing in these garments. Shrugs (RMB 940) and cardigans (RMB 1,012) will appeal to those that want simple pieces to add to their winter wardrobe, while those that want to lavishly enshroud themselves in the soft knitwear can choose from dresses (RMB 1,632), ponchos (RMB 1,660) and sweaters.
