Young at Heart: BLF's Pam Macintyre

The 2013 Bookworm Literary Festival will feature several writers, illustrators, and scholars from the world of children's and young adult literature. We're all adults here but let's face it, who can say no to big letters and bright colors and pictures? To entertain our infantile taste in literature, our friends at The Bookworm asked their experts for some top picks.

Australian scholar Pam Macintyre will be speaking at BLF 2013 on the "Forever Young (Adult)" panel on Tuesday, March 19, 6pm. She is an expert on children’s and young adult literature and teaches language and literacy at the University of Melbourne.

Illustrated books for young readers:

The Red Tree
by Shaun Tan

Nobody Owns the Moon
by Tohby Riddle

The Peasant Prince
by Li Cunxin and Anne Spudvilas

Fox and Old Pig

Willy’s Pictures
by Anthony Browne

Tickets to Dr. Macintyre's BLF panel are currently on sale at the Bookworm.
