Au Revoir, For Now: Project O'Henry Relocates the Cafe

After nearly a year in their China View space, Caffe O'Henry will be moving house this weekend. An abrupt decision from the landlady that she wants to reclaim the space by the end of the month prompts the plans for relocation.

For the cafe, it means only a handful more nights to serve drinks but also to pack up and move out. For us, it means a party and a yard sale. O'Henry will be selling all of their things for cheap (you can see a list of the larger items in our classifieds). The sale starts properly on Sunday at 2pm, although visit anytime from today through Monday April 29 to check out the items.

Following Sunday afternoon's fire sale, O'Henry will be having a farewell party for the space from 8pm onwards with pizza and chocolate cake.

Where will you be able to find them next? Henry Yin, the main man behind the project, says the hopes are to move into a hutong courtyard and that the search is in process. So, keep your eyes out for the next incarnation of Project O'Henry in the greater Gulou area most likely – but more on that when details are confirmed.
