Jackie Chan to Open Amusement Park in Beijing

Jackie Chan is most certainly not dead. Instead, he's decided to carve out some space for himself on the Beijing landscape.

The veteran of over 100 action and comedy films plans to open JC World, a theme park that will display many of his personal items -- perhaps it's more a museum with rides. Those items will include Chinese buildings (no, you read that right), antique furniture and jewelry. Chan did not specify how he will make roller coasters and log flumes using the items.

“I want to exhibit all my stuff. They may not all be worth a lot of money, but they may have a story behind them," Chan said.

JC World will be 60 percent free, with admission required to visit the other 40 percent, he said.

Originally from Hong Kong, Chan is a frequent visitor to Beijing, and has been known to frequent a certain five-star hotel just inside the East Fourth Ring Road.
