London Mayor Boris Johnson Gets Plastered, Becomes Beijing Beatle

Lord Mayor of London Boris Johnson was in town Monday for the Great British Brands festival and took time to promote two great British brands here in Beijing: Plastered T-Shirts and the Beijing Beatles.

The Beijing Beatles played a set at the festival opening at the Zhuozhan Mall in Wukesong and were joined on stage by none other than Boris "Ringo" Johnson, who showed that along with presiding over an Olympics to rival Beijing's, he can also play the drums.

Not satisfied with that brush with stardom, Johnson popped over to Nanluogu Xiang to meet one of Beijing's 20 Most Interesting People and Beijinger October cover model, Dominic Johnson-Hill. The Lord Mayor picked up some t-shirts, and shockingly, both mugged for the camera.
